Olallieberry Inn – Cooking Class Schedule

Please join us for an extra special event ... cooking classes based on our popular recipes served to guests here at Olallieberry Inn. It is a fun way to learn. And the fruits of your labor? Simply delicious.

September 22, 2208 (Monday)
Agenda: Focaccia Bread – It’s a yeast bread that is so simple to make, it’s unbelievable. Great for panini’s and sandwiches. Also makes a great hors d’oeuvre when topped with carmelized onions, walnuts, & blue cheese. And there are many more topping ideas.

October 27, 2008 (Monday)
Agenda: Pumpkin – So many great things to make with pumpkin – I’ll show you pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin bread, pumpkin bread pudding, pumpkin cheesecake – and they are all easy to make.

December 8, 2008 (Monday)
Agenda: Cranberries – Tis the season! We’ll make Cranberry sauce, cranberry duff, cranberry pumpkin upside down cake and maybe more.

January 26, 2009 (Monday)
Agenda: Ricotta Cheese – How about delicious ricotta cheese pancakes and ricotta cheese muffins. I’ll even show you how you can make your own ricotta cheese.

March 2, 2009 (Monday)
Agenda: Brioche Bread – It’s time to revisit the brioche. I have a better recipe and will show you lots of delicious items – sticky buns, cinnamon swirl bread, coffee ring among other goodies.

All classes will begin at 11:00am and end no later than 1:30pm. The class fee includes a brunch that will include an item that I will be demonstrating; and will include a baked product that you can take home.

Fee: $40.00 ($30 for Guests staying at Olallieberry Inn)

"The cooking classes at the Olallieberry Inn gave me insights that I could not have gotten any other way. Watching the process taught me the importance of preparation, critical timing, and other tips you don't get from a recipe. I especially enjoyed the warm, charming atmosphere of the Olallieberry Inn. Looking forward to more classes!" - Eunice Wilson

"Marjorie Ott is Cambria's addition to Cooking School personalities. She conducts her culinary classes with a combination of expert advice and spontaneous, witty commentary. Samples of the daily cooking fare and artfully presented lunch platters punctuate the lively presentations." - Fay Kennedy, enthusiastic student
