Innkeeper Marilyn Draper is an accomplished massage specialist and teacher of Lomi-lomi Massage. Lomi-lomi is Hawaiian style massage; it means to massage or to soften. Moving is a dance-like way the practitioner begins by softening, relaxing, and opening the body. It uses herb-infused oil and the broad planes of the practitioner"s forearms, which gives more contact with the body and can spread out the pressure. Lomi-lomi is a flowing, rhythmic, and nurturing massage. It uses different speeds and depths to accelerate change and create
expansion on all levels.
